Brian Quantrille is an Associate Wealth Advisor. In his role, he works alongside Wealth Advisors to create, present, and implement custom financial plans for clients. He joined Burney Wealth Management in 2021, shortly after receiving his BS in finance with a concentration in financial planning from Virginia Tech. Brian is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner. He lives in Arlington, Virginia, and in his free time can be found outdoors, attending sporting events, and cheering on his hometown Boston sports teams from afar.

Sherrie Campbell’s expertise is in retirement planning as it relates to life planning. In addition, she works with charitably minded clients on qualified charitable distributions. She manages customized equity portfolios and designs tailored financial plans.
She has a BSEd and MEd in English Education from the University of Georgia and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) Practitioner, a Registered Life Planner (RLP®) and a member of the Ed Slott Master Elite Advisor Group. She is currently the only RLP® and Master Elite in the country.
Sherrie is married to Mike, and they have two wonderful children. She lives in Watkinsville, Georgia, and enjoys waterfall hikes, watching UGA sporting events, and lots of reading. She joined the Burney Company in 1994 and is a director.
Adam Newman is responsible for the preparation and ongoing management of client financial plans, annual financial planning updates, and investment portfolio reviews. His expertise is in comprehensive financial planning, retirement income planning, tax planning, and investment policy development.
He has a BS in Applied Economics from Virginia Tech and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) Practitioner. Adam is also a CFA charterholder as well as being awarded the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation, which focuses on advanced retirement income planning strategies.
Kyle McFarland is responsible for the direct communication and ongoing management of client financial plans and investment portfolio reviews. His expertise is in comprehensive financial planning, new client acquisition, and portfolio analysis.
Kyle has a BS in Finance from the University of Tennessee and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) Practitioner. He has held several FINRA broker dealer licenses and is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative.
Bijal resides in Richmond, VA with his wife Jinu of 21 years and two teenage children. In his spare time enjoys working in the garden and tackling small projects around the house that sometimes become big projects. He also spends time at the bowling alley and recorded a perfect 300.
Bijal earned his BS in finance from Central Connecticut State University and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). Bijal has held several FINRA broker dealer licenses and is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative.
Ben Scrivener is responsible for the preparation, direct communication and continued monitoring of client financial plans. His expertise is in comprehensive financial planning, tax, cash flow, retirement planning, insurance and portfolio analysis as they relate to client goals and resources.
Ben has a BA in Political Science and Economics from the Christendom College in Front Royal, VA and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) Practitioner and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®). Ben is a registered investment advisor representative.
As a Wealth Advisor, Roch collaborates with individuals and families to build financial plans that enable them to live the lives they want to live both today and tomorrow. This is done by focusing on every pertinent area of one’s financial picture, such as cash flow and investment planning, and even well-being.
Roch earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2016 and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2018. He is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).
Roch and his wife, Taylor, reside in Knoxville, TN. In his spare time, you can find him reading, exercising, spending time outside with his friends and family, or vacuuming up hair from his two dogs, Charlie and Chief.
Robbie works to ensure the needs of clients are met quickly and efficiently. It is the daily interactions with those that he works with and serves that gets him up and excited about each day.
In his free time, you will likely find Robbie on a long walk with his wife, Martha, and their dog, Duncan. Robbie loves wake surfing and snowboarding, depending on the season, but year round can be found outdoors playing Ultimate Frisbee.
Russ is a Director, Investment Advisor with almost 30 years of investment management and client relationship experience. His client-centered, door is always open approach has helped countless individuals and families realize their investment and financial goals. He is responsible for investment reviews, client outreach and helping new clients reach their investment goals.
During his work balanced lifestyle, Russ can be found in the Colorado mountains hiking, exploring and cycling. He enjoys riding road, gravel and mountain bikes.
Russ, his wife Sharon and their dog Annabelle, split time between Longmont, CO and Alpharetta, GA, where their son Justin and daughter Abby live respectively.
Russ graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Finance and concentration in investments. He is a CFA Charterholder.
Andy joined the Burney Company in 2012 after graduating from Virginia Tech. Always fascinated with Behavioral Finance, Andy double-majored in Economics and Psychology. He is deeply interested in developing investment strategies and ways to communicate these strategies that are sound from both an investment and investor behavior standpoint. He earned his CFA Charter in 2017 and is an Investment Advisor Representative.
Fariba is a senior Trader who joined the firm in 1989 and possesses a BS in Business Management.
AJ joined the Burney Company in 2021, starting as an intern. He now supports our Portfolio Management team as an Investment Analyst where he focuses on securities analysis, reporting, trading, and managing client accounts.
He graduated from James Madison University with a B.B.A in Finance and a minor in Computer Information Systems.
Alex joined The Burney Company in 2012 as Director of Research. Her responsibilities include monitoring our proprietary models, analyzing portfolio performances, and researching and preparing studies on macro trends. She is a quant by training and has a wide range of experience in the financial services industry, including analytical positions with Georgina Asset Management, the Virginia College Savings Plan and the Virginia Resources Authorityís Bond Issuing Program. Alex received her Master in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is working toward her PhD in Economics from Virginia Tech. She is a CFA Institute member and a member of the CFA Virginia Society. In 2007 she was awarded the CFA Institute Certificate of Achievement.
Kenny Mezher is a highly experienced and dedicated member of The Burney Company team. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics and a minor in Business from Virginia Tech. Kenny has been an integral part of the company for over 6 years and has contributed significantly to our success.
Kenny’s expertise in finance has been further enhanced by his achievement of the highly regarded CFA and CFP designations. His extensive knowledge and experience in financial planning and investment management have proven to be invaluable assets to our team.
Kenny is a highly driven individual with a strong commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients. He takes great pride in his work and is passionate about helping others achieve their goals. His analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex financial concepts in simple terms make him an asset to our team and a trusted advisor to our clients.
Angie joined the company in January of 2006 as an equity analyst and compliance officer. Previously, she worked for DuPont as a process engineer in the KevlarÆ department, then at Kaman Sciences Corporation as a research engineer. She earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1987.
Martin joined The Burney Company in 1992 and works as a Research Analyst in the Analytical Group. Martin has over a decade of experience implementing Burney’s proprietary models, is a member of the Technology Committee and oversees the IT infrastructure. Martin is a 1992 graduate of Georgetown University with a BS in Finance.
Hannah joined the Burney Company as an intern in 2018 and 2019, and now works in the Analytical Group as an Information Technology Specialist. Hannah graduated from Virginia Tech in 2020 with a BS in Business Information Technology.
Lowell joined The Burney Company in 1986, became a Portfolio Manager in 1992, was promoted to Director of Analysis in 1996 and became President in 2003. Lowell earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1989, has a BS in Finance and Economics from Virginia Tech and an MS in Banking and Financial Management from Boston University.
Wayne has spent his entire 30-year career in financial services. He founded Alpha DNA Investment Management to broaden the use of machine learning in the Hedged Equity space.He previously co-founded an RIA firm to specialize in risk-management strategies using options. That firm's founding principles grew out of the book Wayne co-authored entitled Buy and Hedge, the Five Iron Rules for Investing Over the Long Term.
Wayne spent 10 years in the online brokerage segment with TD Ameritrade. He managed Business Development as a member of the Senior Operating Committee-including M&A and Market Research--as well as ran Product Development. Previously, Wayne held planning & analytical roles at Fortune 500 insurance and banking firms.
